Over the past week, Turkish steelmaker Icdas A.S. has revised its longs prices against the backdrop of the ongoing currency fluctuations and the negative sentiment in the import scrap segment. The mill has raised its official rebar price on lira basis by TRY 125/mt to TRY 17,195/mt ($580/mt) ex-works. The supplier has decreased its wire rod price by TRY 15/mt to TRY 17,490/mt ($590/mt) ex-works. Both long product prices include 10 percent VAT. The rebar price has fallen by $10/mt on US dollar basis, while the wire rod price has fallen by $15/mt.
