Turkey’s Icdas cut its domestic longs prices by $10/mt

Today, August 9, Turkish steel producer Icdas has decreased its local rebar price by $10/mt (TRY 60/mt) from the end of last week to TRY 7,140/mt ($700/mt) ex-works amid the negative sentiment in the import scrap segment and currency fluctuations. The producer has also issued its wire rod price today at TRY 8,260/mt ($810/mt) ex-works, down by $10/mt (TRY 55/mt) over the same period.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.
