Turkey’s Icdas adjusts its longs prices to offset currency fluctuations

Today, October 12, Turkish mill Icdas has raised its official rebar price by TRY 70/mt to TRY 7,460/mt ($700/mt) ex-works against the backdrop of currency fluctuations. The exchange rate was at $1 = TRY 8.95 yesterday.

The supplier has also issued its official wire rod price at TRY 8,530/mt ($800/mt) ex-works today, up by TRY 80/mt over the same period. The supplier has kept its longs prices stable on US dollar basis.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.

$1 = TRY 9.031
