Strong demand in Yemen for Turkish rebar

Turkish rebar offers to Yemen can still be found at $610-615/mt CFR, indicating no changes since last week. Market players inform SteelOrbis that Turkish rebar has been attracting attention in the region, with some deals being concluded at these price levels. Meanwhile, recently about 50,000 mt of rebar have been imported to Yemen from Turkey.
 
In the meantime, Yemeni buyers expect price declines for Turkish rebar, while Chinese offers to Yemen are still at $600/mt CFR on actual weight basis.
