SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that rebar prices in the local Spanish market have remained unchanged since last week at €465-470/mt ($628-634/mt) delivered to customer.
Meanwhile, Spanish rebar export offers have also remained unchanged since last week at €440/mt ($594/mt) FOB. Market sources state that local and foreign demand for Spanish rebar has remained slack, while Spanish rebar offers to Algeria can be still found at €465-470/mt ($628-634/mt) CFR. Spanish producers say that prices will gain clarity depending on demand from Algerian buyers.
