In the Kuwaiti domestic rebar market, medium size rebar offers have remained unchanged at the price range of KWD 210-214/mt ($754-768/mt) ex-warehouse, on theoretical weight basis. There is no local tax on rebar in the country.
Domestic rebar demand has remained quiet in Kuwait. Some rebar offers have this week been heard from Turkey to the Kuwaiti long steel market at $690/mt CFR, but no transactions have been concluded so far at this price range. Meanwhile, local buyers still prefer to remain in wait-and-see mode due to low demand levels.
