Rebar prices in local Turkish spot market

Buyers and dealers in the local Turkish rebar spot market currently prefer to wait before concluding any new transactions due to the strengthening of the US dollar against the Turkish lira. Meanwhile, domestic producer Kardemir opened its domestic sales for rebar on March 24 at the level of TRY 1,148/mt ($442/mt) ex-works excluding VAT, but this price level is considered to be on the high side and no demand has been received.
