Rebar prices in local Turkish market

Rebar prices in the local Turkish market are still softening. It is heard that some producers have been launching sales campaigns in order to spark off some momentum in the market. It is observed that the sales campaign prices may see the price level of TRY 1,150/mt ex-works ($823/mt ex-works, excuding VAT).

The rebar prices in the local Turkish market are as follows:

      TRY 1,185 - 1,205/mt ($849 - 862/mt)

Iskenderun

      TRY 1,170 - 1,180/mt ($837 - 845/mt)

The above TRY prices are ex-works and including VAT, while the US$ prices are ex-works and excluding VAT.
