SteelOrbis has been informed that rebar price levels in the local Omani market are currently at $510/mt delivered to site for cash payments on actual weight basis. Demand has been trending at normal levels in this market.

Meanwhile, it is heard that traders from Dubai are offering rebar to this country in the price range of AED 1,950-1,960/mt ($531-534/mt) delivered to site. Thus, it is seen that there is hardly any profit margin left for Omani traders.
