SteelOrbis has heard that the price level of medium size rebars in the local Lebanese market is at $1,290-1,300/mt delivered to customer on actual weight basis and for cash payment, including 10 percent VAT.

Rebar prices in the local Lebanese market have continued to register a softening trend, declining by around $100/mt in the last two weeks. The increasing supply of low-priced Syrian-origin rebar to Lebanon's domestic market is indicated as the main reason behind the abovementioned decline.
