Brazilian producers are negotiating rebar for export at $590/mt, FOB conditions, a local exporter told SteelOrbis. The price, referred to the CA-50 grade, compares with $600/mt last week.

In March, ArcelorMittal exported 31,300 mt of rebars at $556/mt, Gerdau exported 19,000 mt at $534/mt, and Votorantim exported 2,600 mt at $573/mt, all FOB conditions, with price deals probably closed in January.

The destinations of Brazilian rebar in March were South American countries (42,900 mt) and the US (10,000 mt).
