Brazilian producers are negotiating wire rod of the mesh grade for export to South American countries in a price range of $610/mt to $630/mt FOB, the same range as last week, local market sources told SteelOrbis.

In November, Brazil exported 32,400 mt of wire rod, destined chiefly to Latin American countries (24,100 mt at $592/mt), followed by Europe (4,100 mt at $702/mt), Asia (3,900 mt at $642/mt) and Canada (300 mt at $808/mt), all FOB conditions and price deals probably closed in September.

ArcelorMittal exported 23,000 mt at $592/mt, while Gerdau exported 9,400 mt at $667/mt, both FOB conditions.
