Price levels in Taiwanese rebar market

According to market sources, prices in local Taiwanese rebar market are currently in the range of NTD 12,800-12,900/mt ($418-421/mt) ex-works, indicating a decrease of NTD 250/mt ($8/mt) over the past two weeks. Demand has weakened in the local Taiwanese market amid rainy weather conditions, with prices moving downward accordingly. However, market sources state that the prices will recover since the weather is expected to improve in the coming period.
