The reference price for Brazilian rebar exports is now $900/mt, against $820/mt one month ago, FOB conditions for the CA-50 grade, for sales to South American countries.
In November, Brazil exported 15,200 mt but did not import rebar, against respectively 14,600 mt and 1,500 mt in October.
The exports of November were destined to South American countries, in average at $766/mt, FOB conditions. Total shipments by ArcelorMittal reached 14,700 mt, in average at $764/mt, while Gerdau exported 500 mt at $831/mt.
In the Brazilian domestic market, rebar is offered by producers, in medium to large volumes, at BRL 6,100/mt ($1,147/mt), against BRL 6,000/mt one month ago, ex-works, full taxes except IPI, for the supply in the country’s southeast and south regions.
