Nucor and Steel Dynamics, Inc. announced today they will drop merchant bar prices by $1.00 cwt. ($20/nt or $22/mt), effective with all shipments as of Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019.
SDI’s letter to customers cited “current market price changes” as the reasoning behind the decrease.
