SteelOrbis has been informed that Italian producers' merchant bar offers for the country's domestic market have been continuing to soften. Accordingly, producers' offers for merchant bars of 140 mm and below sizes have been at €520-550/mt ($670-709/mt), while the offers for 80-140 mm IPE have been at €650-680/mt ($838-877/mt) and the offers for 160-220 mm IPE have been at €700-730/mt ($902-941/mt). All prices are ex-works, on actual weight basis and excluding VAT.
