Official wire rod prices in Turkey have fallen by $10/mt in the Izmir region, while remaining stable in the rest of the country, as compared to Tuesday, April 22, against the backdrop of sluggish demand.
According to sources, workable wire rod prices in Turkey are at around $540-570/mt, down by $5/mt on the lower end over the same period, depending on the region.
One Iskenderun-based mill has issued its wire rod price at $585/mt ex-works today, April 29.
