Today, Friday, June 19, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have decreased by TRY 20-30/mt ($2-4/mt) over the day to TRY 3,400-3,450/mt ($420-426/mt) ex-warehouse depending on the region.
Most Turkish mills have set their rebar prices at TRY 3,470-3,480/mt ($429-430/mt) ex-works, down $5/mt on the higher end, specifically in the Marmara and Izmir regions. The key reason is the weaker scrap price, coupled with low rebar trading activity.No fresh rebar sales have been heard.
