Today, December 3, rebar spot prices in Turkey have moved sideways on lira basis, with minor changes on US dollar basis, amid currency fluctuations. As of today, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey have settled within the range of TRY 4,890-4,970/mt or $530-539/mt ex-warehouse depending on the region.
Most mills in Marmara and the Izmir region are currently offering rebar at TRY 4,940-5,095/mt ($535-552/mt) ex-works, with minor changes on US dollar and lira basis today.
In the Karabuk region, Yolbulan A.S. is currently offering rebar at TRY 5,050/mt ($547/mt) ex-works, up by TRY 50/mt ($7/mt) today, while Samsun-based Yesilyurt A.S. has opened its rebar sales at TRY 5,080/mt ($551/mt) ex-works, up by TRY 30/mt ($5/mt). No fresh rebar sale has been heard for now.
