Local Turkish rebar spot prices mostly decrease further

Although rebar spot prices in Turkey have mostly moved down due to sluggish demand, prices in the Iskenderun region have remained unchanged resulting from the sales closed today.

Today, November 14, Turkish mill Icdas has kept its 12-32 mm rebar prices at TRY 2,492/mt ($432/mt) ex-works, while Izmir Demir Celik has kept its 12-32 mm rebar prices at TRY 2,483/mt ($430/mt) ex-works, both excluding VAT. Meanwhile, market sources report that Turkish rebar mills are offering discounts of TRY 20-40/mt (including VAT) for serious buyers.
