Today, November 23, rebar spot prices in Turkey have risen by TRY 120-180/mt ($13-21/mt) compared to Tuesday, November 17, due to costlier scrap and currency fluctuations. As of today, 12 mm rebar spot prices have settled within the range of TRY 4,600-4,700/mt or $502-513/mt, ex-warehouse depending on the region.
Today, Icdas’s rebar offers have increased by TRY 140/mt ($3/mt) to TRY 4,640/mt ex-works, equal to $505/mt ex-works. Most mills in the Marmara region are currently offering rebar at TRY 4,750-4,770/mt ex-works ($518-520/mt) ex-works.
In the Izmir region, sources report approximately 20,000 mt of rebar has traded at TRY 4,590/mt ($501/mt ex-works) today.
In the Iskenderun region, Bastug A.S. has opened its rebar sales at TRY 4,630/mt ($505/mt) ex-works.
In the Karabuk region, Yolbulan A.S. has opened its rebar sales at TRY 4,710/mt ($514/mt) ex-work, while Samsun-based Yesilyurt has announced its rebar sales at TRY 4,700/mt ($513/mt) ex-works.
