Local Turkish rebar spot prices decrease further

Turkish traders have reduced their domestic rebar prices once again today, July 11, amid weak demand conditions and also due to the appreciation of the Turkish lira against the US dollar.

Meanwhile, today, Turkish mill Izmir Demir Celik has kept its 12-32 mm rebar prices unchanged at TRY 2,669/mt ($471/mt) ex-works, while Icdas has reduced its 12-32 mm rebar prices by TRY 20/mt to TRY 2,700/mt ($476/mt) ex-works, both excluding VAT.

As of today, rebar offers in the Turkish spot market are as follows:
