Local Turkish official wire rod prices move sideways

Today, September 23, official wire rod prices in Turkey have remained unchanged week on week amid the ongoing currency fluctuations and sluggish demand.

According to sources, workable wire rod prices in Turkey are still at around $540-555/mt ex-works, also unchanged over the same period, for cash payment and for serious buyers only.

One Iskenderun-based mill has issued its official wire rod price at $560/mt ex-works today. Additional discounts are still applicable for serious buyers.

Most buyers are in wait-and-see mode due to the unclear financial situation in the country.
