Over the past week, official wire rod prices in Turkey have mostly fallen by $5-10/mt against the backdrop of the ongoing currency fluctuations and sluggish demand.
According to sources, workable wire rod prices in Turkey are at around $555-575/mt, down by $5/mt over the same period depending on the region.
One Iskenderun-based mill has issued its wire rod price at $575/mt ex-works today, February 18.
