Official wire rod prices in Turkey have fallen by $5-15/mt in the Izmir and Iskenderun regions, while remaining stable in the rest of the country, as compared to Thursday, April 3, amid sluggish demand.
According to sources, workable wire rod prices in Turkey are at around $575-595/mt, down by $10/mt on the lower end, depending on the region.
One Iskenderun-based mill has issued its wire rod price at $585/mt ex-works today, April 9.
