Over the past week, demand in the local Spanish rebar market has remained slack. According to market sources, most Spanish steel mills are on their traditional summer holiday, which has resulting in tightness of rebar supply in Spain. Accordingly, domestic rebar prices in Spain have increased further, rising by €10/mt week on week to €530-540/mt ($615-626/mt) delivered to customer.
