Over the past week, demand for Spanish rebar in the export markets has been very weak as buyers in western Europe and the US have been unwilling to enter the Christmas and New Year holiday period with high inventories. However, Spanish rebar exporters have maintained their offer prices unchanged at €470-480/mt ($536-547/mt) FOB week on week.
