Demand for Spanish rebar exports still weak

Over the past week, demand for Spanish rebar in the global markets has weakened further. Market sources state that Spanish rebar producers, satisfied with the deals previously concluded in their domestic market, are unwilling to decrease their domestic and export prices despite the downward pressure on prices. As a result, Spanish rebar offers to the export markets are still at €490-500/mt ($554-565/mt) FOB, remaining unchanged week on week.
