Domestic rebar prices in Iran have been influenced by the sharp rises seen in domestic raw material and billet quotations and have indicated an increase of $30/mt during the past week to $475-480/mt ex-works, including nine percent VAT. On the other hand, market sources state that this price range is considered to be on the high side by buyers and so buyers are currently postponing their rebar purchases.
