SteelOrbis has learned that the Italian producers are offering merchant bars sized below 140 mm for export at the price level of €850-860/mt ($1,317-1,332/mt) delivered to customer in Czech Republic, Slovenia and Poland for July shipment and on actual weight basis.
Due to the sluggish local Italian merchant bar market, the Italian producers have been searching for alternative markets. The producers in question have been concluding deals to the closer markets.
