Iskenderun-based Turkish mill revises rebar price to offset currency fluctuations

SteelOrbis has been informed that today, January 7, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has raised its rebar price by TRY 200/mt ($4/mt) to TRY 24,200/mt ($570/mt) ex-works, compared to Thursday, January 2, amid the ongoing currency fluctuations, for an extended delivery period. In addition, the producer has kept its wire rod price at $580/mt ex-works, also for an extended delivery period. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 35.35 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.
