Iskenderun-based Turkish mill reduces its longs prices

SteelOrbis has been informed that today, April 25, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has cut its official mesh grade wire rod price by $10/mt to $690/mt ex-works compared to Friday, April 14, against the backdrop of rapid currency fluctuations and the negative sentiment in the import scrap segment. In addition, the mill has issued its rebar price at TRY 15,550/mt, equal to $679/mt ex-works at the current exchange rate today, down TRY 20/mt ($2/mt) over the same period.
