Iskenderun-based Turkish mill raises its rebar price

SteelOrbis has been informed that today, September 11, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has kept its official mesh grade wire rod price unchanged at TRY 15,600/mt ($581/mt), ex-works, excluding VAT compared to Friday September 8. The mill has issued its rebar price at TRY 18,700/mt ($580/mt), rising by TRY 250/mt ($7/mt) amid firm import scrap prices and relatively better demand expectations from a few traders. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 26.87 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.
