SteelOrbis has been informed that today, November 14, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has raised its rebar price by TRY 100/mt ($3/mt) to TRY 25,350/mt ($615/mt) ex-works, as compared to the beginning of this week, for an extended delivery period. In addition, the producer has raised its wire rod price by $5/mt to $625/mt ex-works, also for an extended delivery period. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 34.36 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.
Earlier this week, the mill had reduced its rebar price by TRY 250/mt ($8/mt) to TRY 25,250/mt ($612/mt) ex-works, compared to Wednesday, November 6, at an exchange rate of $1 = TRY 34.36, while keeping its wire rod stable at $620/mt ex-works over the same period.
