An Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has issued its official rebar price at TRY 26,750/mt ($568/mt) ex-works today, June 10, amid the ongoing currency fluctuations, for an extended delivery period. The producer has kept its 6.5 mm SAE 1008 grade wire rod price unchanged at $585/mt ex-works, also for an extended delivery period. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 39.22 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.
Sources report the workable rebar price is at around TRY 25,500-25,750/mt ($542-547/mt) ex-works, for serious buyers only.
