Iskenderun-based Turkish mill issues its longs prices as week begins

SteelOrbis has been informed that today, September 4, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has issued its official mesh grade wire rod price at TRY 15,800/mt ($590/mt), ex-works, excluding VAT. This wire rod price has remained unchanged in the local currency, while it is down by $2/mt on US dollar basis compared to Thursday, August 31, amid ongoing currency fluctuations and sluggish demand. The mill has issued its rebar price at TRY 18,650/mt ($580/mt), falling by TRY 250/mt ($10/mt) over the same period. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 26.78 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.
