This wire rod price indicates a TRY 400/mt ($4/mt) decrease compared to Tuesday, August 22, amid the ongoing currency fluctuations and sluggish demand. The mill has issued its rebar price at TRY 18,900/mt ($590/mt), down by TRY 300/mt over the same period, while rising by only $2/mt on US dollar basis. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 26.70 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.
