Iskenderun-based Turkish mill increases its rebar price further

SteelOrbis has been informed that today, September 12, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has raised its official mesh grade wire rod price by TRY 50/mt ($1/mt) to TRY 15,650/mt ($582/mt), ex-works, excluding VAT, as compared to the previous day. The mill has issued its rebar price at TRY 19,000/mt ($589/mt), rising by TRY 300/mt ($9/mt) amid firm import scrap prices. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 26.89 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.
