Iskenderun-based Turkish mill increases its longs prices further

SteelOrbis has been informed that today, August 22, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has issued its official mesh grade wire rod price at TRY 16,200/mt ($596/mt), ex-works, excluding VAT. This wire rod price indicates a TRY 150/mt ($5/mt) increase from the previous day, amid the ongoing currency fluctuations. The mill has issued its rebar price at TRY 19,200/mt ($588/mt), up by TRY 200/mt ($5/mt) over the same period. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 27.20 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.
