An Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has issued its official rebar price at TRY 27,300/mt ($561/mt) ex-works today, July 28, against the backdrop the ongoing currency fluctuations, for an extended delivery period, up TRY 150/mt ($2/mt) compared to Thursday, July 24. The mill’s offer price for rebar volumes in excess of a certain level stands at around TRY 27,000/mt ($555/mt) ex-works, SteelOrbis has heard.
The producer has kept its 6.5 mm SAE 1008 grade wire rod price unchanged at $585/mt ex-works, also for an extended delivery period.
The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 40.53 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.
