Today, August 26, official wire rod prices in Turkey have decreased by $5-25/mt week on week against the backdrop of the ongoing currency fluctuations and sluggish demand.
According to sources, workable wire rod prices in Turkey are at around $540-560/mt ex-works, down by $5/mt on the lower end over the same period, for cash payment and for serious buyers only.
One Iskenderun-based mill has issued its official wire rod price at $560/mt ex-works today.
