Iranian steel mill Esfahan Steel Company (ESCO) is reported to have floated an export tender for 30,000 mt of billet. The material is destined to be delivered not later than August 10. The deadline for bids is Monday, July 11.

Iranian steel billet exporters have remained cautiously positive towards prices in the coming tenders, expecting to get $505-510/mt FOB. Nevertheless, the attempts of suppliers to increase their offers to Asia have continued to falter, with the apparent demand still being insufficient, especially at higher price levels.
