Greek rebar producers’ export offers have remained unchanged over the past week and are still at €475/mt ($542/mt) FOB, despite the weakness of demand. Meanwhile, buyers continue to exert downward pressure on Greek rebar export quotations.

Market sources state that the rebar price inquiries received by Greek suppliers are from Romania, Algeria, Morocco and the Balkans. Additionally, Greek mills are expected to start maintenance works in August.
