Gerdau raises prices on long products in US market

Gerdau Long Steel North America (GLN) has announced price increases on a variety of its products effective immediately. According to its statement, published prices on most angles, channels, flats, rounds, and square products are increasing by $2.00/cwt ($40 per net ton). Published prices on wide flange beams, standard beams, bantam beams, and piling products are increasing by $2.25/cwt ($45/nt or $50/mt). The transactional price of rebar products is increasing by $2.50/cwt ($50/nt or $55/mt).
