Exchange rate and higher scrap prices boost local Turkish rebar prices

The strengthening of the US dollar against the Turkish lira and the increased scrap prices seen this week have provided support for rebar prices in the Turkish domestic market. Meanwhile, Turkish mill Kardemir's ongoing local rebar sales have started to attract some demand. However, traders indicate that end-user demand has continued to remain limited.
