Over the past two weeks, most Turkish merchant bar re-rollers have raised their official equal angle export prices by average $15/mt to $600-610/mt FOB, for late May-early June shipment, amid the relatively higher import scrap prices. A few merchant bar inquiries are coming from Latin America lately, SteelOrbis has heard.
The SteelOrbis Turkish import billet daily reference price stands at $455-475/mt CFR, stable over the same period.
