The leading Indonesian producer has announced a small decline in billet export offers for the second time this week. The new billet offers for April shipment stand at $440/mt FOB, down by $3/mt FOB from yesterday, February 11. No new deals have been reported so far but market sources said that earlier a small volume was booked at $435/mt FOB.

Ex-Indonesian slab offers have also moved down, by $5/mt to $430/mt FOB. At the moment, the Indonesian producer is offering slabs also for April shipment, after selling at $430/mt or slightly below in early February. The previous attempts to increase prices to $435/mt FOB did not work.

Ex-Indonesia wire rod offers have remained stable at $470/mt FOB.
