During the past week, Italian producers' domestic rebar prices have increased only by €10/mt ($11/mt) on the lower end of the price range to €455-465/mt ($519-530/mt) ex-works, as SteelOrbis has been informed by market sources. In the previous week, the producers' domestic rebar prices had increased by €25/mt ($29/mt) week on week. In the meantime, downstream demand remains weak and buyers are only buying to meet their immediate needs.

In addition, demand from Algeria for Italian rebar is on the sluggish side, while Italian producers' rebar export offers are unchanged at €450-470 /mt ($513-536/mt) FOB for late June delivery
