Domestic rebar prices in Turkey increase sharply

With the influence of the sharp rise seen in import scrap quotations in Turkey, domestic rebar prices have also indicated a sharp increase and moved up by TRY 60-90/mt since August 7. With the upward movement of raw material and rebar prices being met with apprehension by market players, buyers have slightly slowed down their rebar purchases since the beginning of the current week and are currently monitoring the market.

As of today, August 10, traders’ rebar offers in the Turkish domestic market are as follows:
