Domestic and imported wire rod prices in India

SteelOrbis has learned that in the Indian domestic market low carbon wire rod offers stand in the price range of INR 36,500-37,000/mt ($771-781/mt) on actual weight basis for deliveries to customer, exclusive of four percent VAT and 10 percent excise duty.

In the meantime, Chinese offers to India for boron-added mesh grade wire rod are at $765-775/mt CFR on actual weight basis, while low carbon offers from the CIS are at $800-810/mt CFR also on actual weight basis, both for October shipments.
